We Build It

Most sites are done in around 2 weeks, depending on content and feedback.

You'll see progress along the way and give feedback. We're not going to disappear for a month and come back with something you hate.

We handle everything — design, code, content layout, SEO setup. You don't need to worry about the technical stuff.

Launch day

Go Live

We set up your hosting (free — no monthly fees), connect your domain, test everything, and launch. You're live.

We check everything works on mobile, tablet, and desktop. Forms get tested. Links get checked. Then we hand over the keys.

Final 50% is due when you're happy. Not before.

What Happens After Launch?

Your site's live. Now what? Here's what you need to know.

Small Updates

Need to change text, update a phone number, add a service? Bundle it all into one email and we'll quote it. Each request is a separate job, so if you send us a new number on Monday and a new email on Friday, that's two charges. Package everything together and it's cheaper for everyone.

Google Business Profile

If you don't have one, go set one up — regardless of whether you buy a website from us. It's free, it's how you show up on Google Maps and local search, and it's one of the most important things a small business can do online. We've got a step-by-step guide to help you get started.

Domain

You register the domain yourself — it stays in your name, always. We just need the login to set up DNS. Costs about $25/yr for a .co.nz.

Hosting

Free. Your site is small and compact, so the free tier handles it — including about 100 form enquiries a month. If your business grows past that (like Coating Lab did), you just upgrade to a paid plan at about $19/month directly with the hosting provider. Not common, but a good problem to have.

Your Domain, Your Website

Here's how domain and hosting works — it's simple and everything stays in your name.

  • You buy your domain — register a .co.nz (about $25/yr) through any domain registrar. It's yours, in your name, on your account.
  • Send us the login — we log in, set up the DNS settings and point everything to your website. Once it's done, you can change the password.
  • We create a hosting account — a free hosting account gets set up for your site. Your website files live here. Forms on your site get processed through this account too.
  • You set up the payments — any recurring costs (just the domain renewal) go through your own account. No payments go through us.

The point is: it's always your website and always your domain. If you ever want to move on, everything is in your name. No lock-in, no hostage situation.

What We Need From You

We keep this simple. Here's what helps us build your site:

  • Your business name and what you do
  • Logo — if you have one. If not, no worries
  • Photos — of your work, your team, your shop. We can work with what you've got
  • Your services list — what you offer and where you operate
  • Contact details — phone, email, address

That's it. We handle the rest. You don't need to write copy, pick fonts, or know anything about websites. That's our job.
