What's NOT Included
We'd rather be upfront than surprise you later. Here's what sits outside the website build.
Domain Name (~$25/year)
You'll need a domain name (like yourbusiness.co.nz). If you don't have one, it's easy — just go to a provider like Metaname or Crazy Domains, search for the name you want, buy it, and send us the login details. Takes about 5 minutes. We'll handle connecting it to your site. Runs about $25 a year.
Ongoing Content Updates
We'll send you a cheat sheet to help you write your website content — most people find it dead easy. If you want regular updates, blog posts, or new pages after launch, that's a separate conversation.
Photography
Good photos make a massive difference. If you've got them, great. If not, we can recommend local photographers who won't charge the earth.
Logo Design
If you need a logo, we can recommend designers who do solid work at fair prices. If you've already got one, we'll work with it.
How Payment Works
Upfront to Start
We get cracking on your website straight away. You'll see progress within the first few days.
On Completion
You see the finished site, give feedback, and only pay the rest when you're happy with it.
No payment plans needed at these prices. Bank transfer or card — whatever's easiest.
The 50% deposit is non-refundable except where we fail to deliver the agreed services. See our Terms of Service for full details.
Common Pricing Questions
Are there any monthly fees?
No. Every price is a one-off payment. You own the website. Hosting is free (covers most small businesses). The only ongoing cost is your domain name — about $25 per year.
What's included in the price?
Design, development, good SEO setup, contact form, mobile-responsive build, and launch support. We'll send you a content cheat sheet to make writing your content easy — or if you already have it, just send it through. All prices are inc GST.
How many revisions do I get?
Starter includes 2 rounds of revisions. Professional includes 3 rounds. Additional revisions beyond that are charged at $120 + GST per hour.
Can I upgrade later?
Yes. If you start with a Starter site and want to move to Professional later, we can build on what you have. You only pay the difference plus a small rebuild fee depending on how much has changed.
Do you offer payment plans?
We keep it simple: 50% upfront to start, 50% on completion when you're happy. At these prices, most people don't need a payment plan.
What if I'm not happy with the website?
You see the site before you pay the final 50%. We work with you through a couple of rounds of feedback to get it right. We're not interested in delivering something you don't like — that's bad for both of us.
Do I need to provide content and images?
We'll send you a content cheat sheet — a simple template that shows you exactly what to write for each section of your site. Most people find it dead easy. If you already have your content sorted, even better. Photos help a lot — send what you've got and we'll work with it.
